libio-compress-lzma-perl software package provides modules for reading and writing lzma/xz files/buffers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libio-compress-lzma-perl
libio-compress-lzma-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libio-compress-lzma-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libio-compress-lzma-perl *
You will get with libio-compress-lzma-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
