libindicate-gtk-dev software package provides library for raising indicators via DBus - GTK+ bindings development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libindicate-gtk-dev
libindicate-gtk-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libindicate-gtk-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libindicate-gtk-dev *
You will get with libindicate-gtk-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
