libimager-perl software package provides Perl extension for generating 24-bit images, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libimager-perl
libimager-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libimager-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libimager-perl *
You will get with libimager-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
