libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl software package provides Perl extension for showing/modifying JPEG (meta)data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl
libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl *
You will get with libimage-metadata-jpeg-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
