libidl-common software package provides library for parsing CORBA IDL files (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libidl-common
libidl-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libidl-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libidl-common *
You will get with libidl-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
