libid3tag0-dev software package provides ID3 tag reading library from the MAD project, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libid3tag0-dev
libid3tag0-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libid3tag0-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libid3tag0-dev *
You will get with libid3tag0-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
