libhugetlbfs-dev software package provides A library which provides easy access to huge pages of memory, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhugetlbfs-dev
libhugetlbfs-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhugetlbfs-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhugetlbfs-dev *
You will get with libhugetlbfs-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
