libhmsbeagle-dev software package provides High-performance lib for Bayesian and Maximum Likelihood phylogenetics (devel), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhmsbeagle-dev
libhmsbeagle-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhmsbeagle-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhmsbeagle-dev *
You will get with libhmsbeagle-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
