libhighgui2.4 software package provides computer vision library - libhighgui translation package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhighgui2.4
libhighgui2.4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhighgui2.4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhighgui2.4 *
You will get with libhighgui2.4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
