libhamlib-utils software package provides Utilities to support the hamlib radio control library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhamlib-utils
libhamlib-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhamlib-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhamlib-utils *
You will get with libhamlib-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
