libguess1 software package provides high-speed character set detection library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libguess1
libguess1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libguess1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libguess1 *
You will get with libguess1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
