libgudev3.0-cil software package provides GObject-based wrapper library for libudev -- CLI bindings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgudev3.0-cil
libgudev3.0-cil is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgudev3.0-cil package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgudev3.0-cil *
You will get with libgudev3.0-cil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
