libgudev-1.0-0 software package provides GObject-based wrapper library for libudev, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgudev-1.0-0
libgudev-1.0-0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgudev-1.0-0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgudev-1.0-0 *
You will get with libgudev-1.0-0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
