libgtkpod-dev software package provides main library for the gtkpod package, development kit, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgtkpod-dev
libgtkpod-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgtkpod-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgtkpod-dev *
You will get with libgtkpod-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
