libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d software package provides GStreamer development files for libraries from the base set, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d
libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d*
You will get with libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
