libgs-dev software package provides interpreter for the PostScript language and for PDF - Development Files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgs-dev
libgs-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgs-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgs-dev *
You will get with libgs-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
