libgroupsock1 software package provides multimedia RTSP streaming library (network interfaces and sockets), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgroupsock1
libgroupsock1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgroupsock1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgroupsock1 *
You will get with libgroupsock1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
