libgrip-dev software package provides multitouch gestures for GTK+ apps -- development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgrip-dev
libgrip-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgrip-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgrip-dev *
You will get with libgrip-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
