libgpod4-nogtk software package provides library to read and write songs to an iPod, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgpod4-nogtk
libgpod4-nogtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgpod4-nogtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgpod4-nogtk *
You will get with libgpod4-nogtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
