libgoocanvas3 software package provides canvas widget for GTK+ that uses the cairo 2D library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgoocanvas3
libgoocanvas3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgoocanvas3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgoocanvas3 *
You will get with libgoocanvas3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
