libgnuplot-ocaml-dev software package provides OCaml interface to the gnuplot utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgnuplot-ocaml-dev
libgnuplot-ocaml-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgnuplot-ocaml-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgnuplot-ocaml-dev *
You will get with libgnuplot-ocaml-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
