libgloox11 software package provides C++ jabber/xmpp library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgloox11

libgloox11 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgloox11 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgloox11 *

You will get with libgloox11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
