libglib2.0-cil software package provides CLI binding for the GLib utility library 2.12, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-cil
libglib2.0-cil is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglib2.0-cil package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglib2.0-cil *
You will get with libglib2.0-cil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
