libgf2x-dev software package provides Routines for fast arithmetic in GF(2)[x] (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgf2x-dev
libgf2x-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgf2x-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgf2x-dev *
You will get with libgf2x-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
