libgetopt-complete-perl software package provides programmable shell completion for Perl apps, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgetopt-complete-perl
libgetopt-complete-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgetopt-complete-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgetopt-complete-perl *
You will get with libgetopt-complete-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
