$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgeotiff-epsg 

libgeotiff-epsg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgeotiff-epsg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeotiff-epsg *

You will get with libgeotiff-epsg package name, version, architecture and description in a table

libgeotiff-epsg package basic information:
