libgd-text-perl software package provides Text utilities for use with GD, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgd-text-perl
libgd-text-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgd-text-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgd-text-perl *
You will get with libgd-text-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
