libgconf-bridge-dev software package provides Bind GObject properties to GConf keys (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgconf-bridge-dev
libgconf-bridge-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgconf-bridge-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgconf-bridge-dev *
You will get with libgconf-bridge-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
