libfreeimage3-dbg software package provides Support library for graphics image formats (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfreeimage3-dbg
libfreeimage3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfreeimage3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfreeimage3-dbg *
You will get with libfreeimage3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
