libfprint-dev software package provides async fingerprint library of fprint project, development headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfprint-dev
libfprint-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfprint-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfprint-dev *
You will get with libfprint-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
