libfontembed-dev software package provides OpenPrinting CUPS Filters - Development files for font embed library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfontembed-dev
libfontembed-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfontembed-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfontembed-dev *
You will get with libfontembed-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
