How to uninstall or remove libfolks25 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libfolks25 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libfolks25

Uninstall libfolks25 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libfolks25 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfolks25
Use Purging libfolks25

If you use with purge options to libfolks25 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libfolks25

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfolks25
