libfile-fcntllock-perl software package provides Perl module for file locking with fcntl(2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-fcntllock-perl
libfile-fcntllock-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-fcntllock-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-fcntllock-perl *
You will get with libfile-fcntllock-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
