libfftw3-mpi-dev software package provides MPI Library for computing Fast Fourier Transforms - development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfftw3-mpi-dev
libfftw3-mpi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfftw3-mpi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfftw3-mpi-dev *
You will get with libfftw3-mpi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
