How to uninstall or remove libfbembed2.5 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libfbembed2.5 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libfbembed2.5

Uninstall libfbembed2.5 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libfbembed2.5 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfbembed2.5

Use Purging libfbembed2.5

If you use with purge options to libfbembed2.5 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libfbembed2.5

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfbembed2.5
