libextutils-cbuilder-perl software package provides module to compile and link C code for Perl modules, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libextutils-cbuilder-perl
libextutils-cbuilder-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libextutils-cbuilder-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libextutils-cbuilder-perl *
You will get with libextutils-cbuilder-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
