libexodusii-dev software package provides exodusII datamodel for finite element analysis, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexodusii-dev
libexodusii-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexodusii-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexodusii-dev *
You will get with libexodusii-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
