libexempi3-dbg software package provides library to parse XMP metadata (Debug files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexempi3-dbg
libexempi3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexempi3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexempi3-dbg *
You will get with libexempi3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
