How to uninstall or remove libesd0 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libesd0 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libesd0 

Uninstall libesd0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libesd0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libesd0 
Use Purging libesd0

If you use with purge options to libesd0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libesd0 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libesd0
