libencode-hanextra-perl software package provides perl module providing extra sets of Chinese character encodings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libencode-hanextra-perl
libencode-hanextra-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libencode-hanextra-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libencode-hanextra-perl *
You will get with libencode-hanextra-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
