libenchant-dev software package provides Wrapper library for various spell checker engines (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libenchant-dev
libenchant-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libenchant-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libenchant-dev *
You will get with libenchant-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
