libeio1 software package provides Library providing non-blocking I/O using threads, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libeio1
libeio1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libeio1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libeio1 *
You will get with libeio1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
