libecasoundc1 software package provides multitrack-capable audio recorder and effect processor (C library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libecasoundc1
libecasoundc1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libecasoundc1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecasoundc1 *
You will get with libecasoundc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
