libecasoundc-dev software package provides multitrack-capable audio recorder and effect processor (C dev library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libecasoundc-dev
libecasoundc-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libecasoundc-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecasoundc-dev *
You will get with libecasoundc-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
