libebook1.2-dev software package provides Client library for evolution address books (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libebook1.2-dev
libebook1.2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libebook1.2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libebook1.2-dev *
You will get with libebook1.2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
