libebackend1.2-dev software package provides Utility library for evolution data servers (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libebackend1.2-dev
libebackend1.2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libebackend1.2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libebackend1.2-dev *
You will get with libebackend1.2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
