libdotconf-dev software package provides Configuration file parser library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdotconf-dev
libdotconf-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdotconf-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdotconf-dev *
You will get with libdotconf-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
