libdirectfb-extra-dbg software package provides direct frame buffer graphics - extra provider debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdirectfb-extra-dbg
libdirectfb-extra-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdirectfb-extra-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdirectfb-extra-dbg *
You will get with libdirectfb-extra-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
