How to uninstall or remove libdirectfb-bin-udeb software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdirectfb-bin-udeb package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdirectfb-bin-udeb

Uninstall libdirectfb-bin-udeb including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdirectfb-bin-udeb and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdirectfb-bin-udeb

Use Purging libdirectfb-bin-udeb

If you use with purge options to libdirectfb-bin-udeb package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdirectfb-bin-udeb

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdirectfb-bin-udeb
