libdime-tools-perl software package provides modules to parse and generate DIME messages, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdime-tools-perl
libdime-tools-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdime-tools-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdime-tools-perl *
You will get with libdime-tools-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
